Position: Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-class technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance for software, hardware, and networking issues related to card processing and point of sale systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, guiding clients through solutions in a clear and patient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues promptly.
  • Document and track customer interactions, solutions, and resolutions in our support system.
  • Assist in creating and updating support documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and product developments to offer timely and accurate assistance to clients.
  • Contribute to improving the overall customer support experience by sharing feedback and insights.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in technical support or customer service preferred, but will train the ideal candidate.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues preferred, but will train the ideal candidate.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Familiarity with card processing or point of sale systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when dealing with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Prior experience in remote technical support is advantageous.

  • Competitive hourly wage of $18 for the first 90 days , $20 per hour plus benefits after the 90 day training period.
